The Te Atatu Memorial RSA is a club which is dedicated to an outward looking culture, social commitment, and community support. Ever since its inception, the club has maintained support for local projects to help the people. It has also enhanced the external image of the New Zealand society while supporting youth projects at the same time.
For example, the club actually sponsors exchanges for the youth to the Australian RSL. The participants of these activities are selected from the progeny of club founder members. In addition to community support, the club also facilitates leisure and catering.

The Te Atatu Memorial RSA is a club that was created and built by members of the New Zealand armed forces. After returning home from conflicts overseas, these members decided to create a club that can help with the transition from a life of combat to domestic and national construction plus provide support to veterans and their families.
In addition to this, the club was created so as to act as a memorial for what they had survived. Thus, people have to remove their hats when entering the Te Atatu RSA club. The club recognizes the women of the Te Atatu for their effort in supporting their men. As such, their patience is recognized too.
Built on a foundation of community support and remembering the exploits of those who engaged in conflict oversees, The Te Atatu Memorial RSA club is a center for entertainment and socialization.
