The Black Salt Bar and Eatery is located on the corner of Totara Ave and Great North Rd in New Lynn, Auckland, New Zealand. They have a nice and warm atmosphere that will predispose you perfectly after a long day of work, at lunchtime or a simple meeting with your mate’s for a few brews.

The Black Salt Bar and Eatery has a wide range of foods available including salads, different kinds of fresh fish, seafood, meats, tasty burgers and of course the most important of all foods 🙂 desserts.  TIP – Make sure you try the slow cooked ribs – very messy but just the best pork ribs in all of Auckland. They also offer have great share platters to split with your mates or small plates as appetizers for when you don’t feel like a big meal.

Many great beverages such as white and red wines, beers, ciders and a wide range of cocktails can be ordered. They also have some very happy hours available on a regular basis.

You can enjoy their food and drinks every day except Monday when they don’t work, hey they need to have lunch somewhere also. The regular opening hours are Tuesday to Friday from 3 pm up until late as well as Sunday and Saturday from 12 pm up until late at night.

Venue Function Facilities 

They also have a private function room available for any occasion that you need catered for. It’s right above the main bar and you can invite up to 160 of your mates there for a party or an important meeting can be arranged here. It’s fully-decked out with LCD TVs, a great sound system, and even a separate bar. Furthermore, they can provide you with projectors, screens, whiteboards and/or DJ equipment as well at great rates.

Other Things of Note

Their regular  DJ nights are a must attend also. A selected DJ comes at 10 pm and you can enjoy the party up until late or you can attend one of the quiz nights for a little mental stimulation.
