The Grove serves modern but organic New Zealand food that is prepared with a French twist. It’s a very accommodating menu that includes full vegetarian and vegan options to make sure everyone is sorted. However, what makes the food stand out is that it is comprised of in season vegetables and fruits and of course only organic meats.

The restaurant is mainly known for its personalized degustation dining where the chef prepares a 5 to 9 course meal for a customer. Since degustation simply means tasting and experiencing the fullness of the meal, the courses are small enough not to fill you up too quick while dining. Every course is accompanied with a different sip of world class wine and there is a ten minute break between each course.

For those who don’t have enough time for the fine tastings, you can opt for a fixed-price meal or A’la carte upon request if you are about 8 people.
