The Club that is located on Cox Street, in the city of Ashburton, near the Mid-Canterbury region, south of the island which in itself is must visit area.

This restaurant is the center to which thousands of people come to enjoy the best activities, attractions and of course food. You can also enjoy a hot air balloon flight over the amazing plains of Canterbury, or some fly fishing on the beautiful Rakaia River or how a little snow skiing at Mt Hutt all before lunch 🙂

Ashburton RSA Club – Eats, Drinks, Things to Do and Pokies

The Club has several facilities and things to do, among them they have 18 great pokies machines, a restaurant, bar, indoor bowls, quiz nights, a bottle shop, pool / snooker tables and dart boards to keep you entertained. These are considered the most popular club facilities offered for customers. It also has a membership that is available to anyone as long as they are over 18 years old.

The family restaurant Back Again serves simple yet delicious meals on Thurs, Fri, Sat 5:30pm to 8pm and Wed lunch from 12pm. The bar has excellent prices for your favourite brews and great staff are dedicated to servicing customers whether they are members or not. Just a few examples from the eats menu – Fish of the day, chicken parmigianino (yum), rib eye steaks, medley of seafood and many other menu items to give diners several great choices all mostly under $18.00 how great is that for cheap eats. The desserts section will leave you very happy – trust me on that one 🙂

The Ashburton RSA also has space for private functions. The Doris Linton room is an excellent place for activities / events and can accommodate up to 160 people. It is usually rented for birthdays, weddings, meetings and conferences. You simply have to consult with Ashburton RSA staff and they will explain in detail.

One most weekends live entertainment activities takes place. Other activities that are carried out are raffles, car boot sales and other special prize giveaways. No doubt the special activities or entertainment are one of the biggest attractions of the Ashburton Club along with happy hours on Mon, Wed, Thurs and Friday from 11 am to 6 pm, i will drink to that!

On Thur, Fri & Sat nights they have a van service totally free for patrons so leave the car at home.
